Guinness World Record Golf Ball Race Attempt (Register here)

Our Guinness World Record Golf Ball Race attempt takes place on Saturday, June 19th 2009 at 7pm on Bridge St. In association with Cavan branch Cystic Fibrosis, we are taking on this unique challenge.  Our aim is to sell 10,000 balls at €5 each, with the first ball across the line winning €1,000.  It’s simple, just register on-line to buy a ball or buy a ball in any business premises in Cavan town.

A Magical Midsummer Night’s Dream pageant & Samba parade will make its way all around Cavan Town.
Mad Hatters Fancy Dress through the town and music indoors & out!

French Markets in the Main St. throughout the day
Hen Party Treasure Hunt to take place around the town 2pm – 4pm
Talent Showcase on the Market Square 3pm – 6pm
World Record attempt Golf Ball Race   (Register here) 7pm
Pig Racing 8pm
Music on the Market Square 9pm – 11pm
